Ahvaal e Del – A Collection of Private Performances by Ali Asghar Bahari
This album is from the archive of Mr. Beta Hogra, a Tanzanian musician who had a great interest in Azerbaijani music and provided a collection of his archive to a Dutch friend, who digitized it.
From this collection, only the song Che Shorha (with very low quality) and the Pish Daramad e Shur (incomplete) had been previously released.

Shushtari
Recording date after 1979
Singer: Probably Hatam Asgari Farahani
For years, the heart sought the cup of Jamshid from us
While it possessed itself, it desired from a stranger
The jewel that is out of the shell of existence
Sought from the lost ones on the seashore
Without heart, God was with him in all conditions
He did not see Him and called God from afar
I took my problem to the Pir e Moghan last night
Who, with confirming glance, solved the enigma
I said, “Who gave you this world-seeing cup, Hakim?”
He said, “The day he was making this azure dome.”
Abu Ata*
1. A piece in the introduction of Abu Ata [A different version of the Abu Ata prelude, composed by Bahari himself]
2. Ramkali:
Tonight, no one was as helpless as I
Do not ask about the state of the heart; there was no heart within
[Mirza Hesabi]
We have survived the nights of separation and are alive
We did not expect such resilience from ourselves
[Shakibi Isfahani]
3. Yatimak (Vocal)
We have not taken anyone else as confidant in place of you
Allah, Allah, do not forget the old covenant
Each one from the circle of assembly went their way
We remained with your image in one place
If the gardener does not open the door to the dervish in the garden
Eventually, a breeze will come from the garden to the dervish
If the morning breeze brings a scent of your character
We will sacrifice our lives for the sake of your breeze, not silver
[Saadi]
4. Yatimak Zarbi
5. A piece in Hijaz
6. A piece in Gabari
7. Zarbi Piece
8. Tasnif in Abu Ata from old masters [Qajari Tasnif “We closed the door to strangers in private”]
We closed the door to strangers in private
We came back from everyone and sat with you
We cut off what was not a bond of friendship
And we broke what was not a covenant of the beloved
Wise people are far from this transaction
Perhaps they criticize us for being drunk
9. Rangi in Abu Ata from old masters [Reng-e Abu Ata by Musa Khan Maroufi]
*Sometimes, slight differences are heard between the master’s reading and the recording of the above verses.
Tasnif Che Shorha
This performance, with very low quality, has been previously released in the album “Avay e Bahari”
Pish Daramad e Shur by Ali Akbar Khan Shahnazi
This performance, with the master’s voice removed at the beginning of the piece, has been released in the album Nasim e Kamancheh Nasim e Bahari
Nava
