Alireza Soleimani (born in 1947 in Quchan) is a Bakhshi, dotar player, and singer of local music from North Khorasan. He was born in the village of Aliabad in Quchan city and is the son of Ghorban Soleimani, one of the famous Bakhshis of North Khorasan. The tradition of Bakhshi-ism has continued for generations in their family.
Biography
Alireza Soleimani lives in the village of Aliabad, Quchan. His occupation is farming, and he owns a vineyard and land. Alireza Soleimani started playing music in 1955 with the help of his mother, and later his father encouraged him in this field. He has attended several concerts abroad with his father. Before his death, Ghorban Soleiman gifted his dotar to his son Alireza Soleimani. Alireza Soleimani has five sons.
Receiving the First-Class Art Medal
On August 25, 2018, in a ceremony at the Rudaki Hall, the Council for the Evaluation of Artists, Poets, and Writers of the country, in a meeting held earlier in July, presented him with the first-class art medal (equivalent to a doctorate in art).
