Dariush Saghafi was born in 1942. He is a master and santoor player and a high-ranking physician. He has been living outside of Iran for forty years due to his profession. Saghafi is one of the last students of Master Abolhasan Saba’s santoor school, and his method is derived from Master Habib Samaei’s santoor school.
