Hossein Parnia, a santur player and composer, was born in Khorramabad in 1350 AH (1971 CE) and learned to play the santur in Andimeshk with Master Nedaei until the age of 14. He formed the Homayoun group in 1373 AH (1994 CE). His interest in composing Iranian music was another experience that Parnia learned himself with curiosity and interest.
