Jahanbakhsh Pazouki is a composer, arranger, and songwriter. He was born on June 4, 1937, in Shiraz. One thing that perhaps sets Pazouki apart from other composers is writing both the lyrics and music for a piece; a task that is usually done by two people. Pazouki entered the world of music at the age of 7 due to his great interest and initially learned to play the flute. However, he later professionally learned and played the violin. At the age of 14, Pazouki left Shiraz for Isfahan and studied music under Jalil Shahnaz, Taj Isfahani, and Abdolhossein Brazandeh.
Pazouki continued his collaboration in writing lyrics, composing, and playing music with famous Iranian singers such as Akbar Golpayegani, Mahasti, and Hayedeh.
