For the first time, the Khorasan Dotar Orchestra, sponsored by Nilbarg Company, performed Khayyam recitations for Master Parviz Meshkatian.

Recently, thanks to a leading domestic business, an orchestra of Dotar players from Khorasan, led and composed by Master Ali Ghamsari, was formed and played a piece in memory of Master Parviz Meshkatian at his tomb in Neyshabur.

Preserving and continuing cultural heritage in every era is an important issue for those concerned and in charge of culture and art. Assets that, if not under planned and codified support, will not continue. Therefore, it can be said that this is a responsibility on the shoulders of each of us who love Iranian culture and art and always consider ourselves as the audience and target group. Otherwise, naturally, the next generation will be alienated from our rich culture, and the achievements of great artists will give way to weak productions that have no roots in this soil. So, each of us can and should take a step.

Nilbarg Company, as an Iranian business, has taken a step towards preserving and honoring the memory of Parviz Meshkatian by designing, compiling, and producing a program. This collection has gathered about 100 male and female Dotar players from the north and south of Khorasan, forming a large orchestra, and has gone to the best possible option to lead this group; Master Ali Ghamsari, an artist who has traveled to small and large cities in Iran in less than a year and is trying to introduce the Iranian Tar by supporting local and anonymous artists in each city, and now supports this unique movement without any financial expectations. Also, in this piece, which is designed based on the Kabk Zari Maqam, Khayyam’s poems have been used: a completely Khorasani orchestra.

The video, which is presented by Nilbarg Company on behalf of the people of Khorasan to Persian-speaking art lovers, can be examined and analyzed from several perspectives:

The presence of male and female Dotar players, aged 10 to 60, from the north and south of Greater Khorasan together for the first time, creates motivation in the hearts of each of these artists, a veteran generation that has played its favorite music for years and is now not optimistic about the presence of its art and music in the future and present due to lifestyle changes, and on the other hand, a generation that has grown up with modernity and is prone to alienation and abandoning originality. Now, with such experiences, a young child or teenager will understand the value and depth of authentic and folklore music of Iran, and this experience will keep him eager and devoted to this culture, a generation that has no attachment to our instruments, melodies, and music masters; now they are sitting in an orchestra, getting paid, and playing instruments next to a famous master. Nilbarg has invited both groups to sit and sing together so that the first group remains hopeful and the second group does not lose its way. Synergy to this extent and level is undoubtedly the ideal of masters like Parviz Meshkatian. The beautiful and amazing aspect of the video is that its items are all happening for the first time! And the presence of Nilbarg economic group as the producer is an invitation to other large economic enterprises in Iran to carry out their social responsibility activities in such a proper form and shape, so that culture and art are preserved for future generations and to initiate such movements in other regions, which we will soon hear whispers of.

That well-thought-out cultural programs will undoubtedly have such an impact.
