Draw back my attire and come to sit in the wine house
Nothing will be my companion but my robe and book
So that I may see the deceitful ones in the world
I have donned the cloak of holiness but lie
I am ashamed of the face of the cupbearer and the colorful wine
I will take the cup of wine and escape from the hypocrites
That is, I will choose the pure-hearted from the world
I will raise my head in freedom like a cypress
If it gives me a hand to let go of the world’s hem
There are sorrows on my heart, O God, do not approve
That the mirror of my faith and rituals becomes clouded
My constricted heart and the burden of his grief, alas!
The poor heart is not a man for this heavy burden
